The Alliance aims to be a fellowship of Great Commission churches who are glorifying God by building Christ’s Church in Britain and throughout the world.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to know Jesus Christ as Lord, exalt Him as Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King; and complete His Great Commission:
- Evangelising and discipling people of all cultures in the UK
- Incorporating them into Christ-centred, community-focused congregations.
- Mobilising them for active involvement in a missionary effort designed to plant Great Commission churches among both unreached and responsive peoples worldwide
CORE VALUES
1. LOVE FOR JESUS
Realising the guidance of the Spirit and the Lordship of Christ as recorded in the scriptures which are the foundation of life in the individual and in the church. The bible being infallible, inerrant and brought together superintended by God Himself. We honour him by living in dependence on Him in every aspect of life.
2. LOVE FOR THE CHURCH
This is Christ’s body here on earth and as such we love one another, prepare one another for works of service at home and overseas. Together we hear God speak and pray realising our total dependence upon Him. Together we grow in holiness in the likeness of Jesus and seek to be a family that encourages, supports and respects all that unite with us with the same beliefs and mindset.
3. LOVE FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOST
All people are created in the image of God and, therefore, belong to Him. Real life is only found in a personal relationship with Jesus based on His death, resurrection and ascension into heaven. Life apart from Him means spiritual death.
4. LOVE FOR MISSION
The church is tasked to make Jesus known to every part of the world to all people, language groups regardless of social and economic status. We seek to partner with all who hold to the faith of the gospel, demonstrating the compassion, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually that Jesus has for all. Above all it is to show their need to be reconciled to God.
5. HOPE OF JESUS’ RETURN
The return of Jesus from heaven at the end of this age is the longing and hope of His people. It is this hope that drives us in mission so that many will not face the judgement that will take place at His return.
