“May We Not Abolish Christ’s Fulfilled Law in Us by Following His Feet of Obedience 愿我们透过跟随基督听从的脚踪，不去廢除祂在我们里面完成的律法“（Matthew 马太福音 5:17-18）
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
你們不要以為我來是要廢除律法和先知；我來不是要廢除，而是要完成。我實在告訴你們，就算天地過去，律法的一點一畫也不會廢去，全部都要成就。
Lord Jesus came to free God’s word from the way the Pharisees and Scribes had wrongly interpreted it. He had authority apart from Moses’ Law, but not in contradiction to it except adding to it His perfect obedience. This is certainly one way He came to fulfil the law. He reminds us that not only the ideas of God’s word but also the words themselves (even their letters) are important, emphasizing how highly God regards His word. ‘Until everything is accomplished’ truly implies the assurance that Jesus Himself fulfilled the law itself and in us by His perfect obedience as well as God’s plan will never be set aside until all things are fulfilled at the end of the age.
主耶穌來，是要叫神的道脫離法利賽人和文士的曲解之途。除了摩西的律法以外，祂有著權柄，除了加於其上祂完全的順服，並不與摩西的律法相違，這當然是祂來成全律法的一種方式。祂提醒我們，不僅神話語的意思，而且話語本身（甚至是話語的字母）同樣重要，強調了神是多麼重視祂的話。 「（直至）全部都要成就」真正地暗示那確據，就是耶穌透過完全的順服，自己成全律法的本身和在我們裡面的律法，與及神的計劃永不會落空，直至世代的終末全部都要成就。
Prayer: God the Most High, strictly speaking, it is not such limitations as illiteracy, disability, etc. but such sinful nature as self-centeredness, pride, etc. that would lead us to regard lowly or even ignore your words. Thank you for the example of our Lord Jesus who has embodied the whole law in His own life of fully man on earth demonstrating through His complete obedience a nature which was perfectly conformed to your law of freedom. May we have the necessary willingness in stepping forward to follow His feet at any cost. Amen.
禱告: 神至高者啊，嚴格來說，不是如文盲、殘障等等的限制，卻是如自我中心、驕傲等等的罪性，會引致我們不什重視，或什至漠視你的話語。感謝你我們主耶穌的典範，祂已經在地上用自己完完全全人的生命，體現了整全的律法，透過自己完全的聽從，證明了一種完全符合你自由律法的天性。願我們有著必須的甘心樂意，不論任何代價向前踏步跟隨祂的腳踪。阿們。
