“Christ Firstly Came to Save Us from the Final Judgment in His Second Coming 基督首次來臨要拯救我們免除祂再次來臨最後的審判“（John 約翰福音12:47-50）
If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.
人若聽見我的話卻不遵守的，我不審判他，因為我來不是要審判世人，而是要拯救世人。棄絕我又不接受我的話的人，自有審判他的。我所講的道在末日要定他的罪；因為我沒有憑著自己說話，而是差我來的父給了我命令，要我說什麼，講什麼。我知道他的命令就是永生。所以，我所講的，正是父吩咐我要我講的。
If Lord Jesus came only to judge, the incarnation was not necessary. He did not need to add humanity to His deity to do that but He did need to do it to rescue humanity. Yet, there are inescapable consequences for rejecting Jesus (hearing His words but not accepting/keeping them). The very words the Father who sent Jesus commanded Him to say will condemn them at the last day. Lord Jesus also stressed His own submission to God the Father connecting His authority with it.
如果主耶穌來只是要審判，道成肉身就不是必須的；祂就不需要在祂的神性上加上人性，但是祂確實需要這樣作才能拯救人類。然而，拒絕耶穌（聽見祂的話卻不接受/遵守它），會有無法逃避的後果：那差派了耶穌的父命令祂所說的原話，在末日要定他們的罪。主耶穌也強調了自己對父神的順服，把祂的權柄與對父神的順服連在一起。
Prayer: Our Lord Jesus Christ, it is true that your last word on earth is one of tender appeal, not one of condemnation. It always looks like an essential paradox that you firstly came in love, yet your second coming will be a judgment. Help us not to selectively hear and accept/keep your words (which will determine our fate at the last day) but submit to you following your example of submission to God the Father. Amen.
禱告: 我們的主耶穌基督啊，你在地上最後的話是溫柔的呼籲，而不是定罪，這是真確的。你帶著仁愛首次來到，而你再次來臨卻必要審判，這常常看似是本質上矛盾的事。求你幫助我們，不選擇性聆聽和接受/遵守你的話（它在末日必要決定我們的命運），卻要順服你，跟從你對父神順服的榜樣。阿們。
