“Let Us Obey God Both Pleasing Him and Fulfilling Our Destiny 讓我們聽從神既討祂喜悦又履行我們的定數“（Ecclesiastes 傳道書 12:13-14）
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
你們一切都聽見了，總而言之，應當敬畏神，謹守他的誡命，因為這是每一個人的本分。人所作的每一件事，連一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，神都必審問。
This is the only place in Ecclesiastes where God’s commandments are mentioned. Writing from a common but false premise of life lived without consideration of eternity and the eternal God, Solomon carefully thought through (and lived through) it and now came to understand/conclude that it was worth it to obey God and this obedience both pleased God and fulfilled the destiny of mankind. There is, and will be, an eternal accounting for everything we do, including every hidden thing whether it is good or evil, that everything has meaning and importance, both for the present and for eternity.
這是在傳道書裡提及神的誡命唯一之處：所羅門從毫無考慮永恆和永恆的神而活著的人生，一個普遍卻錯誤的前題寫作，仔細地思考（和經歷過）它，並此刻達至理解明白/推斷，去聽從神與及這聽從既討祂喜悅又履行人類的定數是值得的。對於我們所作的每一件事，連一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，會有並必定有一個永恆的交賬；既對於現在又對於永恆來說，每一件事都有意義和重要性。
Prayer: Sovereign God of Wisdom, if you care as much as giving your one and only Son Jesus Christ that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life, nothing can be pointless. Thank you for your love, grace and wisdom that whoever lives by your truth/commandments comes into light so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through you. Amen.
