“Be Christ’s Obedient Messengers in Witnessing the Peace and Power of His Kingdom 在見証基督國度的平安和能力上，要作祂聽從的信使“（Luke 路加福音10:4-9）
Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road. ‘When you enter a house, first say, “Peace to this house.” If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house. ‘When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal those there who are ill and tell them, “The kingdom of God has come near to you.”
不要帶錢囊，不要帶口袋，不要帶鞋，不要在路上問候人。無論進哪一家，先說：‘願平安歸與這家！’那裡若有配得平安的人，你們的平安就必臨到他，不然，就歸給你們。你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為作工的理當得工資；不必從這家搬到那家。無論進哪一城，人若接待你們，擺上什麼，就吃什麼。要醫治城中的病人，對他們宣講：‘神的國臨近你們了。’
Lord Jesus’ appointed/commissioned disciples/messengers were instructed not to be distracted by either material concerns or tedious ceremonies of etiquette but to bring a blessing of peace to each house, if the home would receive it. They were to trust that God would provide for them through others’ generosity and to thankfully receive what was offered to them (regarding the support as proper payment for their work on behalf of God’s kingdom) with no need to beg from house to house. The remarkable display of God’s power in the work (healing the sick and preaching what God’s kingdom was about from what Jesus had taught and shown) of the seventy-two was meant to prepare people for the ultimate revelation of God’s power and kingdom in the soon death and resurrection of Jesus.
主耶穌所委派/差遣的門徒/信使得著指示，不要被物質需要的掛慮或冗長乏味的禮節儀式分心，卻要把平安的祝福帶到每一戶若願意接受它的家中。他們要信靠神會透過別人的慷慨供應他們，並且要感激地接受別人所供給他們的（看為他們為神國作工所當得的報酬），而不用逐家逐戶乞討。神在七十二信使所作的工裡，就是在醫治病人，並從耶穌所教導和顯示的，傳講有關神的國上彰顯非凡的能力，是為了讓人們將於不久之後在耶穌的死亡和復活上，給神能力和國度的最終啓示作好準備。
Prayer: Faithful and Almighty God of Peace, thank you that Lord Jesus has not only reminded us to pray for the harvest but also called us to go for it telling us how to display a particular attitude for such work in representing Him and His message. May you grant us continual faith in His healing which is still important because it shows that God’s Kingdom has come with power (as everyone could expect it would), yet the power would be evident in such acts of mercy and kindness (which could be beyond expectation). Amen.
禱告: 信實、大能並賜平安的神啊，感謝你主耶穌已不單只提醒我們為收莊稼祈禱，而且呼召我們出去作，告訴我們為作此工要如何表現出一種特定的態度，來代表著祂和祂的信息。願你賜給我們在祂仍然重要的治病上持續的信心，因為那醫治表明神的國已經帶著能力降臨（正如每個人都可以期望它會是這樣），而這種能力會體現在如此憐憫和仁慈的作為上（這可以是超乎人的期望）。阿們。
