“The Words of the Wise Are Filled with Truth Reflecting God’s Righteousness 智者的話語滿有真相，反映出神的公義“（Proverbs 箴言 12:17-19）
An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure for ever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
吐露真情的，彰顯正義，作假見證的卻是詭詐。有人說話不慎，好像利刀刺人，智慧人的舌頭卻能醫治人。說實話的嘴唇，永遠堅立；撒謊的舌頭，眨眼間消失。
The words of the wise are filled with truth and therefore reflect God’s righteousness. The false witness lies promoting deceit instead of righteousness. Some people have the terrible ability to speak in a manner that stabs and slices others. Their words are like the slashing and piercings of a sword, bringing hurt instead of healing. Wise people are able to bring health and healing by the words they speak. God looks after those who love the truth and speak the truth. Under His blessing, they will be established forever. It often seems that the lying tongue wins the day and is stronger than the truthful lip. The judgments of the God of truth will show how temporary the success of the lying tongue is.
智者的話語滿有真相，因此反映出神的公義。作假見証的人說謊，促進欺騙而不是公義。某些人有著可怕的能力，以刺傷劃破別人的態度說話，他們的話語就如一把劍的揮擊和刺穿，帶來傷害而不是醫治。智慧人以他們所說的話，能夠帶來健康和醫治。神看顧那些愛慕真理，並說出真相的人，在祂的祝福下，他們必永遠被建立。世事往往好似是說謊的舌頭得勝，比誠實的口更強；真理之神的審判必表明，說謊舌頭的成功是何等暫時性的。
Prayer: God of Truth, how keenly have your servants suffered from this slashing and piercing sword of lies and slanders! In this fallen world still largely mastered by lies, it is difficult at times to believe that truth abides. Though falsehood may gain credit for a while simply because it was supposed to be truth, it may soon be detected and the foundation of truth is indestructible. Yet, help us to have the required discernment enabling us to stand firm in faith. Amen.
禱告: 真理的神啊，你的僕人們從謊言和誹謗、這在揮擊和刺穿著的劍，已何等激烈地遭受患難！在這仍被謊言大大主宰的敗壞世界裡，許多時候要相信真理存留是困難的。雖然謬誤可以得著一時間的可信性，只不過是因為它是假設的真理，它可以不久就被發現，而真理的基礎是不可能被毀壞的。然而，求你幫助我們有著所需要的識別力，使我們能夠在信心/信仰上站立得穩。阿們。
