“True Worship: Fully Seeking the Lord We Adore 真正的敬拜是全然尋求我們所崇敬的主“（Psalm詩篇 95:3-7）
For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. … Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. …
因為耶和華是偉大的神，是超越眾神的大君王。… 來吧，我們來俯伏敬拜，在造我們的耶和華面前跪下。因為他是我們的神，我們是他草場上的子民，是他手下的羊群。…
The Bible tells us that we worship one Almighty God, maker of all things, who dwells in light that is unapproachable, whom no man has seen or can see and live. God is holy and eternal and omnipotent and omniscient and sovereign … All of these sovereign attributes humble us and bring us down! No worship is wholly pleasing to God until there is nothing in us displeasing to God. However God desires us to worship as near to perfectly as we can: faith and love and obedience and loyalty and high conduct of life, all of these must be taken as burnt offerings and offered to God! True worship actively seeks union with its beloved, closing the gap between the heart and the adorable God.
聖經告訴我們去敬拜獨一全能真神，萬物的創造主；祂住在無人能近的光裡，沒有人曾經看見祂，或看見祂而能存活。祂是聖潔、永恆、全能、全知，而且是至高無上的。這些都令我們謙卑下來，俯伏下拜。除非我們裡面不討神喜悅的東西已被除去，否則我們的敬拜就不能完全令祂歡喜。然而神願意我們要努力達致完美的敬拜：信心、愛心、順服、忠心和高尚的品行，這一切都必須成為燔祭獻給神！真正的敬拜是積極地尋求與我們所愛慕的神的連合，努力收窄心靈與可尊崇的神之間的鴻溝。
Prayer: Heavenly Father, there is nothing new under the sun. What has been will be again. What has been done will be done again. We might not have seen/experienced what you did among your people in the past but we have your word, the Bible, available for us showing us your ways and should not harden our hearts letting them go astray! May the Holy Spirit help us to remember and continue what you desire us to do and follow, not what you hate and forbid, so that your peace is with us always. Amen.
禱告: 天父啊，日光之下並無新事，已有的事必再有，作過的事必再作。我們或許未曾見/經歷過，你過去在你的子民中間的作為，我們卻有你的話語（聖經）在手表明你的道路，理應不要硬著心，讓心裡迷誤！願聖靈幫助我們，回想和繼續你所願意我們要跟從和行的，而不是你所討厭和禁止的，以致你的平安常與我們同在。阿們。
