“God’s Boundless Power Is All around Us 神無限的能力始終圍繞我們“（Ephesians 以弗所書 1:18-21）
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
並且使你們心靈的眼睛明亮，可以知道他的呼召有怎樣的盼望；他基業的榮耀，在聖徒中是多麼的豐盛；神照著他強大的力量，向我們信他的人顯出的能力，是何等的浩大。這力量運行在基督身上，使他從死人中復活，並且在天上坐在自己的右邊，遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、作主的，和今生來世所能舉出的一切名銜。
God is spirit and His universe is basically spiritual! Whatever God is He is infinitely. In Him lies all the power there is; any power at work anywhere is His. Even the power to do evil (such as the abilities Lucifer had received but misused to become the devil he is) must first have come from Him since there is no other source from which it could come. The fact of sin introduces a confusing element into our thinking about God and the universe, and requires that we suspend judgment on many things. The wise man will note that the things we cannot understand have nothing to do with our salvation. We are saved by the truth we know, and true Christians know that the boundless power of our infinite God is all around us, preserving us and keeping us into salvation ready to be revealed.
神是個靈，而祂所造的宇宙基本上也是屬靈的！無論神是怎樣的，祂都是無限的。所有能力都蘊藏在祂裡面；在任何地方運行的能力都是祂的，甚至那行惡的力量（如撒但領受了卻誤用此能力而變成魔鬼）最初必定源於祂，因為這力量再沒有其他的源頭可從之而來。罪性帶來我們有關神和宇宙之思想的混淆，並要求我們擱置在許多事物上的判斷。聰明人必注意到我們所不能明白的事物，根本與我們的救恩無關。我們是藉著我們所明白的真理而得救，而真正的基督徒曉得我們無限的神浩瀚的能力始終圍繞我們，保守我們和護衛我們進入那即將顯現的救恩裡。
Prayer: Sovereign Lord, thank you for your supreme power and unchanging love. Because of these two precious things we can trust you for every situation in our lives, and we need fear no earthly or spiritual authority that may seek to harm us. What a blessing to have the fullness of Christ – all his riches and blessings – poured out upon us! Amen.
禱告: 至高無上的主啊，感謝你至上的能力和不變的愛。因著這兩樣的寶貝，我們在生活每一個處境裡都能夠信靠你，並且毋需懼怕地上或靈界上的權勢來尋索傷害我們。有著基督的豐滿，就是祂一切的豐饒和福氣，澆灌我們是何等的祝福！阿們。
