“Secular Men Confuse Truths with ‘Truth’ 屬世的人把神的真理混淆了“（Proverbs 箴言 3:19-22）
By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge … My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck.
耶和華以智慧奠定大地，以聰明堅立高天。因他的知識 … 我兒，要謹守大智慧和明辨的態度，不可讓它們離開你的眼目。這樣，它們就必作你的生命，作你頸上的華飾。
The great German astronomer, Kepler’s prayer “O God, I thank you that you have permitted me to think your thoughts after you!” theologically acknowledges God’s priority in the universe. Whatever new thing anyone (who is atheist or not) discovers is already old, for it is but the present expression of a previous thought of God, however imperfectly understood. The words of Christ, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free,” have been wrenched from their context and used to stir people to the expectation of being made ‘free’ by knowledge. It is the Son who is the Truth that makes men free. Not facts, not scientific knowledge, but eternal Truth delivers men, and that eternal Truth became flesh to dwell among us!
「神啊！我感謝你，因你允許我隨著你的心思意念而思想！」這德國偉大的天文學家刻卜勒的禱告，在神學上承認神在宇宙中的優先地位。任何人（是無神論者或不是）所發現的任何新東西，其實都是舊的，儘管他們的領悟是多麽不完全，只不過是將神早已有的思想表達出來。耶穌的話語：「你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。」已被人斷章取義，用來鼓動人們期待著用知識去得到「自由」；人子耶穌才是使人自由的「真理」。不是事實，不是科學的知識, 而是永恆的真理才能釋放人。而那永恆的真理已道成肉身，住在我們中間！
Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus, thank you for your promise in giving wisdom to us if we lack it and ask you for it whole-heartedly without doubt because you are pleased to see it shown by our good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Help us to be firmly at your side before you are at our side. Amen.
禱告: 主耶穌啊，如果我們缺少智慧，卻全心全意、毫無疑惑地向你祈求，感謝你的應許，把智慧賜予我們，因為你樂於看見它，藉著我們美好的生活及從智慧而來謙卑的行為表現出來。求你幫助我們，要你是我們的倚靠之先，我們必須要堅定地留在你的一方。阿們。
