“Generally We Pray Only as Well as We Live 我們的禱告就如我們的生活“（Psalm 詩篇 66:17-20）
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
我曾用口向他呼求，我曾用舌頭頌讚他。如果我心裡偏向罪孽，主必不聽；神卻垂聽了，他留心聽了我禱告的聲音。神是應當稱頌的，他沒有拒絕我的禱告，也沒有使他的慈愛離開我。
Prayer at its best is the expression of the total life, for all things else being equal, our prayers are only as powerful as our lives. In the long pull, we pray only as well as we live! Most of us in moments of stress might have regretted that we had not cultivated prayer to the point where it would be as easy and as natural as breathing. As we go on into God we shall see excellency of the life of constant communion where all thoughts and acts are prayers, and the entire life becomes one holy sacrifice of prayer and worship! To pray effectively it is required of us that there are no parts of the mind or soul that are not inhabited by the Spirit, no impure desires allowed to live within us, no disparity between our prayers and our conduct. Undoubtedly the redemption in Christ Jesus has sufficient moral power to enable us to live in a state of purity and love, where our whole life will be a prayer! (A. W. Tozer)
最好的禱告是全人生命的流露；因著其他一切事都在受到同等關注，我們的禱告與我們的生活同樣充滿能力。從長遠來看，我們的禱告就如我們的生活。大多數人在危急時刻，或許懊悔自己沒有把禱告操練得就像呼吸一般容易與自然。當我們繼續在神裡面進深，我們將看見不斷與神相交的生命是何等美好，所有思想與行動都是禱告，整個生命成為禱告與敬拜的聖潔祭品！若要禱告具有功效，便要符合神對我們的要求，就是生活中心思或靈魂的每個部分都有聖靈居住，不容污穢的慾望在我們裡面存留，禱告與行為之間亦沒有不相稱之處。毋庸置疑，基督耶穌的救贖具有充足的道德力量，使我們能過純潔與仁愛的生活，我們整個生命將成為一個禱告！（陶恕）
Prayer: God of Trinity, our act could speak but do not take away the need for our mouth to speak. We need to offer ourselves as living sacrifices as well as our prayer and praise in worshipping you. In obedience we should not hold on to iniquity in our hearts. Thank you that when we cry out to you, you hear and answer giving us more reasons to praise you. Amen.
禱告：三一神啊！我們的行事為人可以發聲，卻拿不走用自己的口發話的需要。我們需要獻上自己作活祭，與及我們的禱告和讚美去敬拜你；我們在聽從裡理應心裡不繼續偏向罪孽。感謝你當我們向你呼求時，你垂聽並應允，給我們更多理由去讚美你。阿們。
