“Christ Established True Values for the Human Race 基督為人類建立了真正的價值觀“（Hebrews 希伯來書 9:27-28）
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
按著定命，人人都要死一次，死後還有審判。照樣，基督為了擔當許多人的罪，也曾經一次把自己獻上；將來他還要再一次顯現，不是為擔當罪，而是要向那些熱切期待他的人成全救恩。
Both questions of the origin and the destiny of mankind can only be answered through Jesus Christ who came from God, out of eternity, to report on things He had seen and heard and to establish true values for the confused human race. Then He drew a line between this world and the world to come. The choice is given between an earthly house which we can at best inhabit but a little while and God’s house where we may dwell forevermore. The church is constantly being tempted to accept this world as her home. Yet, how unutterably wonderful that we Christians have one of our own kind to go ahead and prepare a place for us! That place will be in a world divinely ordered, beyond death and parting, where there is nothing that can hurt or make afraid.
透過那從神而來、源於永恆的耶穌基督，報告祂所見所聞的事物，並且為困惑的人類建立真正的價值觀，人的根源與命運兩者的問題都得著答案。然後，祂在現今世界和未來世界之間畫了一條線，在我們最多只能暫住一會、屬世的居所 ，與我們可以永遠長住、神的家之間給予選擇。教會經常受誘惑去接受這世界作為她的家，然而我們基督徒有一位像我們一樣，並已走在我們前頭，為我們預備地方的主，這真是難以言喻的奇妙！那地方將在神命定的世界中，超越了死亡與別離，那裡亦沒有甚應能傷害我們，或使我們懼怕。
Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus, those unique, remarkable exceptions of dying once mentioned in the Bible do not deny but still prove the general rule of people being destined to die once. Now is the time to choose for you because when we die, we have no another chance but simply face the judgment. It is assumed that all believers will eagerly wait for you. May we truly be ready for your return as it is a sad case that this assumption does not always play out as true. Amen.
禱告：主耶穌啊！在聖經裡那些對人要死一次，惟獨又引人注目的例外，沒有否定而卻仍印証人人定命要死一次的普遍規則。現在就是要選擇你的時刻，因為當我們死的時候，沒有另一次機會，卻僅僅面對審判而已。所有信徒必熱切地等候你就是一個假設，願我們真的作好準備你的再來，因為糟糕的是這假設並不常常真的成立。阿們。
