“Blessed Be Those Who Guard Their Heart for the Wisdom of Life 那些為生命的智慧而謹守己心的人有福了“（Proverbs 箴言 4:23-27）
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
你要謹守你的心，勝過謹守一切，因為生命的泉源由此而出。你要除掉欺詐的口，遠離乖謬的嘴唇。你雙眼要向前正視，你的眼睛要向前直望。你要謹慎你腳下的路徑，你一切所行的就必穩妥。不可偏左偏右，要使你的腳遠離惡事。
Especially from the new covenant’s perspective of promising a new heart, there is great reward of enjoying life flowing from heart to those who guard their heart, keeping it against the way of the wicked for wisdom. It is not easy to guard or keep one’s heart. If one could actually never speak in an impure or perverse way and determine to never do things that must be covered with a deceitful mouth, they would go a long way to avoiding the works of the wicked. We often depart the path of the just out of distraction. Lord Jesus said that if we determine to be fit for His kingdom, we must keep our eyes forward, not distracted side to side or backwards. When we carefully ponder where we are headed, this will help us to establish our wise direction not turning to the right or the left.
特別從新約應許新造之心的視野來看，那些為智慧而謹守己心，遠離惡人之道的人，有著享受從心而出的生命的巨大回報。要謹守或保護己心並不容易：倘若人可以實在地從來不以乖張或不清潔的方式來說話，並決心永遠不作那些要騙人之口去掩蓋的事，人就在避免惡人之事上會走過一段長路了；我們往往由於分心而偏離了正直之道。主耶穌說了，倘若決心要符合祂的國，我們必定要保持自己眼目向前，不兩旁或回頭地分心。當我們慬慎地細思自己朝向那裡走時，這必幫助我們建立自己明智的方向，不偏左或偏右。
Prayer: Father God, indeed it is extremely challenging for us to guard or keep our heart because of our old self still dominating our life. However, thank you for encouraging us that the greater the effort to overthrow our old self, the greater the reward of enjoying new life in Christ. Help us to avoid committing verbal wrongdoing, following the crowd blindly, being self-opinionated and taking things lightly. Amen.
禱告: 父神啊，因著自己的老我仍然支配著我們的生命，對我們來說，要謹守或保護己心確實是極其挑戰的。然而，感謝你鼓勵我們，去推翻自己老我的努力越大，去享受在基督裡新生命的回報越大。求你幫助我們去慎防口舌招尤、隨波逐流、自以為是，並凡事掉以輕心。阿們。
