“The Humble Man Says: the Mistakes Are Mine 謙虚的人說：在我只有錯誤“（Matthew 馬太福音 11:28-30）
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
你們所有勞苦擔重擔的人哪，到我這裡來吧！我必使你們得安息。我心裡柔和謙卑，你們應當負我的軛，向我學習，你們就必得著心靈的安息；我的軛是容易負的，我的擔子是輕省的。
Every Christian should not miss an excellent lesson demonstrated by the sweet humility of the man of God like Macarius of Optino who could say, “Only the mistakes are mine.” Macarius was fully convinced that his own effort could result only in mistakes and that any good that came of his advice must be the work of the Holy Spirit operating within him. It was rather a settled conviction that gave set and direction to his entire life. Such conviction may be a cure to the continual drift of the evangelical movement from the New Testament position which could only be corrected by its leadership passing from the modern religious star to the self-effacing saint who asks for no praise and seeks no place, happy only when the glory is attributed to God and himself forgotten! 每位基督徒理應不要錯過，從屬神的人如俄提諾的聖徒馬加流芳香的謙遜（他能說出「在我只有錯誤」之話）中，所示範一個極美的功課。馬加流完全確信自己的努力只能生出錯誤，他的勸導若有任何嘉之處，必定是聖靈在他裡面的工作。這是一種根深蒂固的信念，是他整個生命的指南與導引。如此信念會是福音運動持續地走離新約聖經立場的解決方法，只有它的領導者能越過現代宗教「明星」心態，追求成為謙虛的信徒，不求讚賞，不尋求地位，只有當自己被遺忘，榮耀全歸給神時，才感到快樂，這樣福音運動立場的遠離就可以改正。 （陶恕）
Prayer: Abba Father, there is light for a look at Jesus Christ, the Saviour, and life becomes more abundant and free. He has passed through death into everlasting life and we follow Him there. May you help us to turn our eyes upon Lord Jesus and look full in His wonderful face. In the light of His glory and grace the things of earth will grow strangely dim. Amen.
