“You Will Find Christ Everywhere in the Bible 聖經裡隨處都可找到基督“（1 Corinthians 哥林多前書 8:4-6）
… we know that ‘An idol is nothing at all in the world’ and that ‘There is no God but one.’ For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords’), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
… 我們知道世上的偶像算不得甚麼，也知道神只有一位，沒有別的神。雖然有被稱為神的，無論在天上或在地上（就如有許多的“神”許多的“主”），然而我們只有一位神，就是父；萬物都是從他而來，我們也為了他而活。我們也只有一位主，就是耶穌基督；萬物都是藉著他而有的，我們也是藉著他而有的。
It was God’s design that we should find the divine Creator, Redeemer and Lord whenever we search the Scriptures. The Son of God is described by almost every fair and worthy name in the creation. Where the person of Jesus Christ does not stand out eye-catching, we will find Him behind the lattice, but stretching forth His hand. If He does not appear as the sun shining in his strength, He may be discerned in the reviving by the promised gentle rains. Our Lord Jesus Christ was that One divinely commissioned to set forth the mystery and the majesty and the wonder and the glory of the Godhead throughout the universe. It is more than an accident that both the Old and New Testaments comb heaven and earth for figures of speech or simile to set forth the wonder and glory of God!
這是神的計劃，使我們每當翻開聖經，都找到這位神聖的創造主、救贖主和宇宙的主宰。聖經對神子的描寫，幾乎用盡了受造物中每一個美好的、相配的名稱。耶穌基督的位格並非引人注目的顯眼，我們在格子窗後會找到祂，卻伸開祂的雙手。如果祂不像太陽般光芒萬丈，祂就如應許的絲絲細雨，讓人更新地認識祂。我們的主耶穌基督身負神聖的使命，要在寰宇中彰顯三一神的奧秘、威嚴、奇妙與榮耀。舊約和新約聖經都從天地間徹底搜尋象徵或比喻，以彰顯神的奇妙與榮耀，這又豈只出於偶然呢！
Prayer: God of Trinity, thank you for your wonderful names which remind us of your sovereignty, your providence and the fullness of your salvation. Lord Jesus Christ, each of your great names means life, strength and eternal security to us that we praise you, the King of kings who became the suffering servant for our salvation. May the Holy Spirit teach us to hear your promptings better and rely on your power to live lives of righteousness, peace and joy. Amen.
禱告：三一神啊，感謝你奇妙的名字提醒我們你的主權、你的管照和你救贖的完備。主耶穌基督，你每個偉大的名字，對我們來說，意味著生命、力量和永恆的安穩；我們要稱頌你萬王之王，那為我們的救贖成為受苦的僕人。願聖靈教導我們，聆聽你的敦促更好，並依靠你的能力，活出公義、平安和喜樂的生命。阿們。
